Art Without Boundaries
I am a Cherokee Nation artist creating vibrant, contemporary work inspired by Indigenous heritage, the American West, nature, everyday life, and the experiences that shape us. My paintings bring these influences together through neon colors, bold color blocking, expressive figures, symbolism, and layered storytelling—creating a visual language that is distinctly my own.
My work exists beyond the expectation of what Indigenous art is “supposed” to look like. Rather than following a traditional or strictly Western aesthetic, I create from my own perspective—unapologetically colorful, deeply personal, and contemporary.
From original paintings to artist-designed home goods and accessories, each Hiawasi piece is an invitation to celebrate connection, resilience, and the stories that make us who we are—and to carry a little of that story with you.
Through my art, I make the internal visible and invite viewers to find their own meaning, connection, and strength within each piece.

Woven to Be Cherished
Blankets have long held an important place in Native communities, serving not only as practical objects of warmth and comfort, but also as meaningful gifts exchanged to honor relationships, milestones, accomplishments, and important moments in life. A well-loved blanket can become part of a family’s story—kept, cherished, and passed from one generation to the next.
This woven blanket is designed with that sense of lasting value in mind. Crafted from 100% premium cotton, its woven construction gives the design texture and dimension that can be felt as well as seen. Finished with fringed edges and a substantial, comfortable weight, it is made to be enjoyed as both a functional blanket and a distinctive piece of home décor.
Whether draped over a chair, layered across a bed, displayed as a textile piece, or wrapped around someone you love, this blanket is intended to become more than something beautiful—it is something you can live with, cherish, and eventually pass down.
A piece made to be enjoyed today and remembered tomorrow.
